SUMMARY

Set-up and perform a wide variety of mechanical and visual inspections, to close tolerances, on highly diversified and complex parts and/or assemblies. Perform visual inspections of welds and magnetic particle inspection of both welds and finished parts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to)

Non Destructive Testing:

-wet & dry MPI as well as liquid penetrant inspection

-mostly defense related support equipment

-works closely with the weld shop

Dimensional Inspection:

-wide range of size parts

-tight tolerances (as little as 0.001 in most extreme example)

-hand tools as well as CMM and Faro Arm

-use of cranes and forklifts to move heavy parts

-Perform Ad hoc tasks when required.

REQUIREMENTS

· 5 years Manufacturing experience preferred
· NDT Level II Weld Inspector Certified

· Attention to detail.

· Problem solver and ability to take initiative.

· Ability to work in a team environment.
